I live by a beautiful lake, and I love to jump into the water. I enjoy sliding through it and floating (I can definitely float in the sea; no saltwater needed for this! 😉).
These days, I love going into the lake, even if the water temperature has dropped significantly and it's raining. I love Chile and Patagonia, so I call these my "Patagonian days in Switzerland." Clouds hang in the mountains, raindrops fall into the lake, and waterfalls cascade down the slopes.
However, a few weeks ago, I did not feel like jumping into the lake at all. I felt it was draining my energy; I needed warmth, not cold. It made me feel tired and tense, and my body took a long time to warm up again. For my hands and feet, I even needed some hot water to get warm.
So, I decided not to go into the lake.
In general, I pay attention to doing things that increase my energy rather than drain it. Now, two weeks later, I enjoy going into the lake again. It energizes me and makes me feel fresh. My body can easily warm itself afterward, and I feel the energy moving within me.
So, I've started doing it again, and I love it!
For me, living is about feeling.
I love to experience life.
My intention with this simple story is to increase your awareness of your body, your energy, and your feelings.
How do you listen to your body?
Where in your life could you remove yourself from situations, people, or things that drain your energy?
What activities could you engage in that would give you more energy?
After which conversations do you feel energized?
With whom do you want to surround yourself?
Get clarity on it and go for it :-)
